McALISTERVILLE, Sarah B. Coudriet, 69, of McAlisterville, died at 11:38 a.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at her home.
Born on June 17, 1944, in Derry Twp., Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Franklin R. and Edna B. (Phillips) Yorks. Her husband, John D. “Jack” Coudriet, Sr., whom she married on March 22, 1963, preceded her in death on September 2, 1997.
Surviving are her sons, Frank D. Coudriet, John D. Coudriet, Jr. and his wife Bobbie, Todd A Coudriet and his companion Tina Sieber, Michael S. Coudriet and his wife Shannon, Derrick M. Coudriet, all of McAlisterville; sister, Kay Yorks, of McAlisterville, seven grandchildren, Samatha Jo, Allison, Amanda Jo, Franki Ann, Maddison, Marissa and Makyla Coudriet as well as three great grandchildren, Ryker Spade, Zane and Blaze Wagner.
One granddaughter, Tiffany Coudriet preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a Methodist by faith and a 1962 graduate of East Juniata High School.
She was employed as a seamstress for Lyons Fashions, McAlisterville and worked at “The Crème Stop”, McAlisterville for three generation of owners.
Sarah was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed baking and being outside.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from the Seventh Day Adventist Church Community Hall with Pastor Keith Ingram officiating.
Her family will be present to receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of service, Thursday at the community hall.
