THOMPSONTOWN, Ralph E. “Ralphie” Pannebaker, 46, of Thompsontown died at 2:50 a.m., on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at his home.
Born on July 9, 1967, he was a son of Ralph V. and Dorothy M. (Dunn) Pannebaker, of Thompsontown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Tom A. and Megan Darrow-Pannebaker and their children, Amira, Arye and Amaryssa, of Middletown; a sister, Judy A. Pannebaker, of McAlisterville and her Fiancé Dylon Blake and her children John and wife Jaymee, and Jordan Neidig. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Virginia Naylor, of Perry Village New Bloomfield and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ralph was a 1985 graduate of Greenwood High School, Millerstown. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Thompsontown, where he sang in the choir, served as worship leader and was the member-at-large of the Church’s administrative board. He was also a member of the Delaware Twp. Fire Company and served as Nursery Manager for the Lost Creek Trout Club.
Mr. Pannebaker was employed as a cabinet maker for Tedd Wood, Inc., Thompsontown.
Ralphie enjoyed woodworking and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014 from the East Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Yorks. Interment will follow in the East Salem Cemetery.
Viewing will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with family present to receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at the church.
