OBITUARY NOTICE
ALMERA M. DUNN
EAST SALEM, Almera M. Dunn, 84, of East Salem died at 7:53 p.m., on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her home.
Born on September 9, 1930 in Richfield, Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late Park and Sarah (Gayman) Willow. On June 9, 1950 she married her husband, Jack E. Dunn, with whom she shared more than 63 years of marriage.
Surviving are her children, Douglas Dunn and his wife Carrie, of Thompsontown, Tami Mays and her husband Jamie, of Ellicott City, MD, brothers, Gary Willow, of Thompsontown, Bob Willow, of Royersford and she leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Dunn, Jeremy Dunn, Jacki Mays, Julie Mays and Kristabelle Mays.
One brother, Richard Willow preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dunn worked as a seamstress at the East Salem Shirt Factory, until her retirement in 1992.
Almera enjoyed gardening, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 12, 2014 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor John Walters officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service, Friday, at the funeral home.
