Obituary for Maxine House

RICHFIELD, Maxine House, 89, of Richfield died at 11:18 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014, at the Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown.
Born December 21, 1924, in Bunkertown, Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Lydia (Dillman) Nace. On March 11, 1949 she married her late husband, Edward House, with whom she shared almost 32 years of marriage until he preceded her in death on February 1, 1981.
Surviving are a brother, C. William Nace, of McAlisterville, a sister-in-law, Mae House, of Richfield, 3 nephews and a niece.
One sister, Ruth Willis, one brother, Cletus Nace and one nephew Frederick Nace preceded her in death.
Mrs. House was a member of the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren and worked at the Richfield Shirt Factory until its closing.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from the Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown with Rev. Graham C. Fowler officiating.
There will be no viewing.
