Elizabeth “Betse” Lund Connelly, 72, of Mifflintown, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital from Lung Cancer.
Betse was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduated from Little Flower High School, and married Wayne C. Connelly on January 25, 1964.
She was full of energy and approached everything with a tireless enthusiasm and kind smile – whether at home raising a family or on the job.
Betse is survived by her husband, Wayne, of Mifflintown, a son, Wayne II and a daughter - in - law Amy, her grandchildren, Megan, John and Tyler, all of Stone Ridge, VA, a sister, Mary Maciejewski, of Williamstown, NJ, a brother Harry Lund, of Blue Bell.
Betse is predeceased by her son, Craig, her parents, Harry and Elizabeth Lund, and a brother, William Lund. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A gathering in the spring is planned for her family and friends.
