Obituary for Paul Eugene Dressler

Paul Eugene Dressler, 76, of Mifflintown, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his home.
Born on June 26, 1938, in Fayette Twp., Juniata County, he was a son of the late John E. and Viola (Davis) Dressler. On February 17, 1956, he married his surviving wife, Mary Jane (Musser) Dressler, with whom he shared nearly 59 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Dean Dressler and his wife Deborah, Mark Dressler and his wife Debra, all of Port Royal, siblings, Samuel Dressler, of McAlisterville, Esther Henry, of Lewistown, Helen McNemar, of Harrisburg, Annabelle Gordon and her husband Ronald, of McAlisterville; grandchildren, Jennifer Mahoney, John Dressler, Curtis Dressler and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were 5 siblings, Kenneth Dressler, Ceylon “Dick” Dressler, Simon Dressler, Lawrence Dressler and Ruth Goodling.
Mr. Dressler was a member of the Free Spring Church of the Brethren.
Until his retirement, he was employed by Protection Services Inc., Harrisburg.
Paul was an avid reader and enjoyed watching deer and turkeys from his window, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February, 11, 2015 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service, on Wednesday at the funeral home.
