Sara L. Clouser, 76, of East Waterford went to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at her home.
Born on January 1, 1939, in Saville Township, Perry County she was the daughter of the late Lemmuel and Ellie (Echleberger) Peck. On April 26, 1956 she married her surviving husband, James W. Clouser with whom she was blessed to share more than 59 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Treva L. Parker and her husband, Andrew, of East Waterford, James E. Clouser and his wife, Inessa, of Bloomingburg, N.Y., Bradley W. Clouser and his companion Hazel, of Thompsonville, N.Y., siblings, Minnie Mitchell of Shermansdale, Dean Peck and his wife Louise, of Loysville, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Clouser was a member of the Cross Keys Church of God and currently was attending the Church of God of Prophecy, Maze.
At one time she had been employed as a nurse’s aide at the Aprontree Home, Dry Run but her true gift was being a home maker.
She loved raising standard bred race horses while being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and being able to enjoy all of her family’s activities.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from the Cross Keys Church of God, 1875 Rte. 35 South, East Waterford, (Cross Keys) with Pastor David Stewart and Pastor William Luckadoo officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Union Cemetery, Concord.
Viewing will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at the Cross Keys Church of God, Cross Keys.
