Obituary for George M. "Tub" Henry

George M. “Tub” Henry, 76, of Honey Grove, passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born on October 4, 1938, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Foster and Helen (Kint) Henry. His wife Charlotte R. (Richardson) Henry survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, John M. Henry, Kimberly Weiand and her husband Charles, all of Honey Grove, Melinda S. Henry, of Port Royal, Melissa H. Turman and her husband Barry, of Blain, a brother, David Henry and his wife Janet, of Port Royal and he leaves behind 4 grandchildren also 6 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Henry retired as a truck driver for H.F. Campbell & Son, Millerstown.
“Tub” loved all kinds of racing especially NASCAR.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Nook with the Rev. Dennis Thompson officiating.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
