Obituary for Timothy J. "Tim" Ehrisman

Timothy J. “Tim” Ehrisman, 54, of McAlisterville, died on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at his home.
Born on November 20, 1960, in Derry Twp., Mifflin County, he is the son of Donna (Leister) Lauver and her husband Harold, of East Salem and the late John Ehrisman.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his daughters, Kaitlyn Kuhns and her husband Brett, of Richfield, Carly Ehrisman, of Juneau, Alaska; sister, Tonda Aumiller and her husband Scott, of Lewistown; his twin sister, Tracey Hoffman and her husband Stanley, of Richfield; brother John Ehrisman and his wife Lori, of Newport; a granddaughter, Averie Kuhns and he was a special uncle to Robin Hack, Curt Hoffman, Cheryl Maneval, Joe and Jordan Ehrisman and Jillian Amsler.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jacob Ehrisman.
Timothy was a 1979 graduate of East Juniata High School, Cocolamus.
In earlier life he was a self-employed contractor and later worked for M&E Construction, Lewistown. He was currently employed as a supervisor for Zartman Construction, Danville.
Tim’s passion was hunting, he enjoyed butchering but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Averie.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Aaron Benner and Pastor John Walters officiating. Interment will follow in the East Salem Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
