Obituary for Weston C. "Westy" Imes

Weston Charles “Westy” Imes, 24, of McAlisterville, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born on March 24, 1991, in Derry Twp., Mifflin County he was a son of Betty (Hoverter) Imes, of McAlisterville and Marlon S. Imes, of Port Royal.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 brothers, Alan Imes, of Port Royal, Benjamin Imes, of McAlisterville; paternal grandfather, Charles Samuel Imes, of Port Royal and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Arlene Devlin and a paternal grandmother, Janet Imes.
Weston was a 2009 graduate of East Juniata High School, Cocolamus and was currently employed as a home health care provider for Public Partnerships, LLC. He had previously worked as a landscaper for Three Spruce Landscaping, of Dillsburg.
Westy was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Ford trucks, sprint car racing and spending time with his friends were also things he enjoyed.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2015 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., McAlisterville with the Rev. Erin Bovendam officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John’s United Methodist Cemetery, Cocolamus.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time service Sunday, at the funeral home.
