Obituary for Michael S. "Mike" Lehman

Michael S. “Mike” Lehman, 26, of McAlisterville went to rejoice in his heavenly home on Thursday, July 16, 2015, as a result of an automobile accident in Fayette Twp., Juniata County.

Born on September 27, 1988, in Cumberland County, he is the son of Glenn W. and Joyce E. (Martin) Lehman, of McAlisterville.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters, Heidi Glick and her husband Nevin, of Cocolamus, Amy Martin and her husband David, Lori King and her husband Macklin, all of Spruce Hill, Amber Pearson and her husband Derek, of East Berlin; maternal grandparents Joseph and Betty Ann Martin, of Manheim, his biological grandparents, Dale and Darlee Jones, of York Springs and 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Glenn L. and Miriam W. Lehman.

Most recently Michael had been attending Niemonds Independent Church, Richfield and the Free Spring Church of the Brethren, Mifflintown.

Mike was a 2007 graduate of East Juniata High School, Cocolamus and a 2014 graduate of Teen Challenge, Rehrersburg.

Michael was currently employed as a truck driver for KSM Log Homes, Mifflintown, served as a volunteer firefighter with Fayette Fire Company, McAlisterville and enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball and soccer.

A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, from the Niemonds Independent Church, 36964 Route 35, Richfield with Pastor Andrew Meiser and Pastor J. Arthur Mott officiating. Interment will follow in the Delaware Mennonite Cemetery, East Salem.

Viewing will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Niemonds Independent Church, Richfield and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, Monday at the church.
