Debbie L. Barner, 43, of Port Royal passed away at 12:09 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on March 6, 1972 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, she was a daughter of Charles, Sr. and Shirley (Barthel) Shirley, of Duncannon. Her husband, John W. Barner, Sr., of Port Royal, survives.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her sons, John W. Barner, Jr., Travis Barner, both of Port Royal and brothers, Charles Shirley, Jr. and his wife Myrtle, of New Buffalo, Paul Shirley and his wife Julie, of Enola, and William Shirley, of Duncannon.
Mrs. Barner was a homemaker, who enjoyed tending her flower gardens, especially her roses and had a love for animals.
There will be no funeral service; however, a viewing will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
