Kay loved history and traveling, and after her husband, Quinton T. Her children remember attending school in WWII buildings, playing on bomb shelters during recess, and living in military Quonset huts. Additionally, two of her children were born at RAF Lakenheath, England, during her husband’s deployment. Kay enjoyed the art of brass rubbing in the English cathedrals, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
