Paul W. “Bo” Hart, 67, of Mifflintown, died at 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown.
Born on November 13, 1948, in Tuscarora Twp., Juniata County, he was a son of the late Roy Franklin and Emma Jane (Yocum) Hart. On September 14, 1982, he married his surviving wife, Judy L. (Carniewski) Hart, with whom he was blessed to share more than 33 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Orr, of Union City, a brother James Hart, of Mifflintown and a sister, Martha Brindley, of Tippecanoe, OH.
A brother, Roy Hart, preceded him in death.
Paul was a 1966 graduate of Tuscarora Valley High School, Port Royal and later proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Until retiring in 2012, Paul worked as a heavy equipment operator for the IUOE Local 542, Hamburg.
“Bo” was an avid NASCAR fan and closely followed Dale Earnhardt and Dale, Jr.’s careers. He was also an outdoorsman who loved to camp and hunt.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
