Jill A. McCormick, 62, of Camp Hill died at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born on May 15, 1954, in Omaha, Nebraska, she was a daughter of the late Major Richard E.(U.S.A.F.) and Dorothy (Switzer) McCormick.
She is survived by: a brother, Mark L. McCormick, of Safety Harbor, Florida, an aunt, Naomi Robinson, of Mifflintown and many cousins.
One brother, Richard James McCormick preceded her in death.
Her education included being a 1972 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and a 1976 graduate of Penn State University earning her B.S. degree in business.
Currently she was employed as a graphic designer.
Jill loved her cats dearly and was a very artistic and creative person who loved to decorate around the holidays. With a gift for cooking and gardening she also had a penchant for traveling, also the Special Olympics held a special place in her heart. Her legacy will be remembered as being a soft spoken person who was kind to everyone that she met.
All services are private and there will be no viewing.
