Obituary for Paula C. Diven

Paula C. Diven, 65, of Honey Grove, died at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at her home.
Born on December 20, 1950, in Rockledge, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Iva (Davidson) Conrath. On August 26, 1969 she married her surviving husband, Harry B. Diven, with whom she was blessed to share nearly 47 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Elizabeth Fisher and her husband Nevin, of Mexico, Sarah Cavanaugh and her husband Stephen, of Alpharetta, GA; siblings, Murray Conrath, Suella Stinnet, both of Titusville, FL; and her grandchildren, Molly Cavanaugh, Tucker Cavanaugh, Meghan Cavanaugh, Bridget Cavanaugh and Jane Fisher.
One brother, Ronald Conrath, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Diven was a 1998 graduate of Penn State University, State College, and a member of the Heaven Bound Church, Mifflintown.
She had recently retired in 2016 as the third grade teacher at Juniata Mennonite School, McAlisterville
Paula enjoyed sewing, traveling and publishing her articles in the Lewistown Sentinel. She also cherished the time that she spent with her family and her church family.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 21, 2016, from the River Church, 105 CJEMS Lane, Mifflintown, with Pastor Casey Hostler officiating. Interment will be private in the McCulluchs Mills Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
