Obituary for Samuel K. "Sam" Croman

Samuel K. “Sam” Croman, 21, of Mifflintown, passed away in Bratton Township, Mifflin County.
Born on October 23, 1995, in Harrisburg, PA, he was a son of Chris K. and Cynthia “Cindy” A. (Rupp) Croman, of Mifflintown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Sarah D. Croman and her fiancé John T. Ritter, of Mifflintown, Travis Y. Croman and his fiancé Christine Witchey, of Lewistown, Anna I. Knepp and her husband Christopher, of Mifflintown; a nephew, Oliver T. Croman, of Lewistown; and his best friend since childhood, Logan Meily, of Mifflintown.
He was a 2014 graduate of Juniata High School, Mifflintown and a member of the Juniata County Sportsman’s Association, Port Royal.
Mr. Croman was currently employed by the Dauphin County Housing Authority in the facilities maintenance department, Harrisburg.
Sam’s favorite pastime was fishing. He also enjoyed hunting, following football as an avid Chicago Bears and Penn State football fan. He was mechanically inclined, enjoying working on his car and motorcycle. He also possessed a gift for woodworking; however, his greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends, especially the family trips to the hunting cabin in Sullivan County.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from the Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Rev. Graham C. Fowler officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
