Jeffry N. Hockenberry, 34, of Richfield, passed away from injuiries sustained in an automobile accident at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Delaware Township, Juniata County.
Born on May 8, 1983, in Harrisburg, Dauphin County he was a son of John Hockenberry, of McAlisterville and Joy (Ehrenzeller) Wilson, of McAlisterville. On October 27, 2007 he married his surviving wife Brittany A. (Speece) Hockenberry with whom he was blessed to share more than 9 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his two children, Levi N. Hockenberry, Kyli A. Hockenberry, both at home, a brother, Joshua Hockenberry, of McAlisterville.
Mr. Hockenberry had been employed as a laborer for Professional Building Systems, Inc., Middleburg for 15 years and currently was employed as a mechanic for K & S. Trucking, Richfield.
Jeffry loved spending time in his garage, working on vehicles, fixing things, tinkering and playing his beloved goat Stinky. However, he was happiest when he was working and helping other people.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Rev. Jason VonNeida and Rev. Richard VonNeida officiating. Interment will follow in the Maze Cemetery.
A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
