Obituary for Pearl E. James

Pearl E. James, 89, of Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown and formerly of Mifflintown, died at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Brookline.
Born on December 30, 1924 in Lack Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Emery and Edith (Fortney) Clouser. Both her first husband, Harry Page and her second husband, Alfred A. James preceded her in death.
She is survived by her siblings, James Clouser and his wife Sarah, Hazel Burdge and her husband Donald; all of East Waterford, Bertha Covert and her husband Bill, of Shade Gap, and Sarah Overcash, of Chambersburg.
Four brothers, Emery Clouser, John Clouser, Paul Clouser and Russell Clouser preceded her in death.
Pearl was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church, Mifflintown and retired from Empire Kosher Poultry, Inc., Mifflintown with thirty plus years of service.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Rev. Ronald Auchey officiating. Interment will follow in the New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, Friday at the funeral home.
