Dorothy R. Yoder, 60, of Cross Keys, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her home.
Born on January 16, 1958 in Camden, NJ she was a daughter of the late Louis and Rose P. (Zeisweiss) Gibbons. On February 1, 1986, she married her surviving husband, Jacob S. Yoder, with whom she was blessed to share nearly 32 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Maryanne Gibbons, of East Waterford, a half-sister, Fran Devine, of Georgia and a sister-in-law, Barbara Boyce, of New York.
Mrs. Yoder was a 1976 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Camden, NJ and attended the East Waterford Presbyterian Church.
Dorothy was employed at Empire Kosher Poultry, Inc., Mifflintown for 19 years.
She enjoyed reading books and crocheting, especially doll clothes.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 from the East Waterford Presbyterian Church, East Waterford with Rev. John C. Park officiating. Interment will follow in the East Waterford Cemetery.
A viewing will be from 10 a.m. on Friday, until the time of service at the church.
