Obituary for Gerald H. "Jerry" Losch



Gerald H. “Jerry” Losch Jr., 64, of Halifax, passed away at 11:26 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 at his residence.

Born on December 2, 1954 at Ft. Huachuca, Cochise County, AZ he is the son of David T. “Tom” and Patricia L. (Renninger) Bell Jr. of Mifflintown and the late Gerald H. Losch Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a companion Cathy Walters of Halifax, a daughter, Liza J. Reynolds and her husband Chason of McAlisterville; Siblings, Alan K. Bell and his wife Shirley, Joel D. Bell, Deirdre A. Bell all of Mifflintown, a brother-in-law, Christopher L. Flanagan Sr. of Thompsontown; three grandchildren, Macy, Aaron, Landon; and he is survived by many generations of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Rachelle L. Flanagan.

In earlier life, he was employed by Stop 35, Mifflintown and later he sold real estate before retiring from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Capitol Area Police in Harrisburg.

When his health permitted, Jerry loved hunting, fishing and shooting pool.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2019 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by the Pastor Jennifer Heikes. Interment will be private in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mifflintown.
