Obituary for Karissa Raye Walters
Karissa Raye Walters, 31, of Milroy, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at her residence.
Born on November 23, 1989, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is the eldest daughter of Carla J. (Walters) Hockenberry, wife of Jeff, of Honey Grove.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by siblings, Hannah Wert and husband Dustin of Port Royal, Jack Reese, of Reedsville, and Valerie Garlock and husband Brett of James Creek; her grandparents, Bryan and Beth Ann Walters of Mifflintown and Douglas and Nancy Guthridge of Reedsville; great grandmother, Julia Jordan of Milroy; and her niece and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two beloved canine companions, Princeton and Blue.
Karissa loved to spend time with her family, taking pictures for everyone to enjoy and reminisce on.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at Wagner’s United Methodist Church in McClure with Rev. Josh Randolph officiating. Interment will be private.
