Obituary for Renee S. Fegley

Renee Suzanne Fegley, 53, of Wilmington, DE and Camp Hill, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, May 16, 2022, after battling cancer courageously and with a hopeful spirit for seven months.

Renee was born September 6, 1968, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, the daughter of Charles A. Fegley of Millerstown, and Karen L. (Losch) Fegley of Camp Hill. She is survived by her loving parents and her longtime companion, Guy A. Nacchia, of Wilmington.

Renee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Victor H. and Eleanor J. (Garman) Losch, and Luther B. and Alda (Feltman) Fegley. In addition to her parents and companion, Renee is survived by her aunts and uncles Rich and Gail Fegley of Millerstown, Ethel Fegley of Millerstown, Dale Willow of Millerstown, Nancy Losch of Orlando, FL, Darryl and Sally Losch of Covington, GA, Michael Byers of Brick, NJ, and Victor Losch of Leesburg, VA, as well as many cousins and friends.

Renee was a 1986 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and 1990 graduate of Gettysburg College. Most recently, Renee graduated from Concordia University in 2013 with a Master of Education (Med), concentrating on early childhood education.

Renee’s true legacy and passion in life were the children of Wilmington Junior Academy daycare, where she proudly served as Director for 26 years. She was beloved by “her” children, their parents, and her faithful staff, and Renee was extremely proud of the wonderful team she led.

Renee loved traveling the country with her Grandma, Papa, and Mom, driving her car in parades with her Dad, and pulling a wagon at the annual Stony Run tractor ride. She enjoyed many weekend perusing flea markets with her Guy, and always looked forward to annual family trips to the Outer Banks, and spending time with her cousins. Most of all, she had a deep love for the Lord.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Stony Run Mission, 2825 Evendale Hill Road, McAlisterville, with Rev. Brittin Stimeling officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Peter’s UCC Cemetery, Millerstown.
