Obituary for Paul A. Arnold



Paul A. Arnold, 80, of Cocolamus, passed away at 6:55 AM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Stonebridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Duncannon.

Born on October 14, 1941 in Fayette Twp., Juniata County, he is a son of the late Raymond S. and Edna C. (Naylor) Arnold.

On April 29, 1962, he married his late wife, Karen M. (Kerstetter) Arnold, with whom he was blessed to share over 57 years of marriage before her passing on December 29, 2019.

He is survived by two daughters, Angie A. Houck and her husband Kevin Houck of Orlando, FL and Nicole P. Shipp and her husband Dr. Robert Shipp III of Millerstown; and four grandchildren, Aiden Shipp, Dylan Shipp, Lily Houck, and Carter Houck.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred L. Arnold and Dale R. Arnold.

Mr. Arnold was a passionate life long farmer and, alongside his wife, co-owned KNA Properties, LLC.

Paul was a member of Brown’s United Methodist Church in McAlisterville and enjoyed boating, tinkering around with old farm tractors and cars, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Kevin Brophy officiating. Interment will follow in East Salem Cemetery.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Services at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 2 at the funeral home.
