McALISTERVILLE, Jeanette A. Forry, 72, of McAlisterville, died at 9:15 a.m., on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at her home.
Born on July 18, 1940, in Cashton, Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late Casper N. and Lorraine (Mashak) Hansen. On December 1, 1961, she married Lenus R. Forry, with whom she shared more than 47 years of marriage, until he preceded her in death on June 19, 2008.
Surviving are: one daughter, Lenette F. Boisselle, of North Smithfield, RI; four siblings, Darrell Hansen and his wife Kathy, of Sparta, WI, Sylvester Hansen, of Lexington, KY, Delores Ooton and her husband Don, Sussex, WI, Judy Ooton and her husband Harold, of West Bend, WI and one brother-in-law, Omer Bethhauser, of Milwaukee, WI.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Bethhauser.
Mrs. Forry was a 1958 graduate of Cashton High School, Cashton, WI and she held many positions in the Women of the Moose Lodge, 925, Millerstown, where she earned her Academy of Friendship and was Past College of Regents.
For many years, she was employed as a seamstress for Lyons Fashions, McAlisterville.
Although, Jeanette gave much of her time and talents to the Moose, she also enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking and decorating for the holidays. She was also an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies and of NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with Rev. Nicholas A. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Millerstown.
Viewing will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home, where a Women of the Moose ceremony will be held at 1:45 p.m.
