MIFFLIN, Jon Scott Paden, 53, of Mifflin died on Friday, September 26, 2014 in Beale Township, Juniata County from injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident.
Born on November 23, 1960, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of Virginia A. (Berrier) Paden, of Mifflin and the late John G. Paden.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his companion, Tracy Vargas, of Port Royal, children, Alisha Lauver, of Mifflintown, Jared Scott Paden and his wife Summer, of Mifflin, Pierson Freet, of Thompsontown, Jerrica Paden, of Port Royal, sisters, Kimberly M. Hockenberry and her husband Edward, of East Waterford, Kathy L. Pellman, of Mifflin also he leaves behind two grandchildren.
One brother, John Curtis Paden in infancy, and two daughters Cassandra Paden and Erika Paden preceded him in death.
Scott loved motorcycles, his children, family and friends.
A funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Pastor Caleb Burd officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Nook.
There will be no public viewing however; family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, Saturday at the funeral home.
