David L. “Andy” Bailor, Sr., 80, of East Waterford died at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2015 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born on February 11, 1934 in Tuscarora Twp., Juniata County, he was a son of the late John M. and Mary M. (Gray) Bailor. His wife of 59 years, Bonnie J. (Campbell) Bailor, survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David L. Bailor, Jr. and his wife Wendy (Sanno), of East Waterford, Donna J. Imes and her husband Richard “Keeter”, of Mifflin, siblings, Glenn Bailor and his wife Rhoda, Jay Bailor, Frank Bailor, all of New Bloomfield, Susie Gray and her husband Jack, of Mifflin, grandchildren, Lyndsay Dysinger and her husband Cole, Austin Imes, Natalie Imes, Heather Vezzetti and her husband Paul, Kim Bailor, Ashley Harrer and her husband Todd, great grandsons, Brandon Harrer and Lawrence Dysinger.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Sue Bailor, in infancy, a brother, John Bailor, and two sisters, Maxine Yetter and Rose Sellers.
In earlier life, he worked at a sawmill, and later owned and operated Bailor’s Hotel in Mifflin. Presently he owns and operates Dave’s Used Cars, East Waterford.
“Andy’s” passion was cars; he enjoyed working on cars and watching NASCAR races. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Rev. Marsha Bookhamer officiating. Interment will follow in the East Waterford Cemetery.
Viewing will be 1 p.m. until the time of service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
