Obituary for Bryce Marvin Long

Bryce Marvin Long
Bryce Marvin Long, 59, of McAlisterville died on Friday, February 6, 2015 at his home.
Born on July 26, 1955, he grew up on the family farm in Poplar Run, Blair County, and was the son of the late Marvin H. and Iva Jean Long. He is survived by his wife Anita L. Long and was preceded in death by his first wife, Robin Renee Long and a granddaughter, Sarah.
He dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed by his two sons Kristopher (Kristen) Long, Joseph (Catheanne) Long, his step children, Lisa and Cole Lightener, sisters Joyce (Chuck) Walls, Linda (Marshall) Wagner, Aunt Judy (Mike) Miller and his precious grandchildren, Joey, Elizabeth, Bradley, Autumn. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and Penn State University.
For the last 39 years, Bryce served as a Food Service Inspector for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
Bryce loved to cook; but his passion was hunting and fishing and he was proud to pass that love of the outdoors onto his sons and grandchildren.
