Bobby Hockenberry, 29, of Mifflintown, died on Monday, January 4, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born on July 27, 1986, in Derry Twp., Mifflin County he was a son of Tammy L. Shuman and her husband Tim, of Waterloo.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by a fiancé, Jessica Billett; a brother, Brian Shuman, half-sisters, Ashley Ewing, Chassity Elliot, Shawna Elliot; half-brother, Jeric Elliot and grandparents, Dorothy Hockenberry and the late Buddy T. Hockenberry.
Bobby was currently employed as a forklift operator for First Quality, of Lewistown and had been employed at ACPI, of Thompsontown.
He enjoyed riding motorcycle and listening to heavy metal music. Bobby loved spending time with his fiancé Jessica, his family, friends and his dog Lola.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Pastor Judy Rowles officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Cemetery, Waterloo.
Viewing will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the funeral home.
