Barbara A. (Chambers) Lauver, 46, of Mifflintown died on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on July 6, 1969, in Derry Twp., Mifflin County, she was a daughter of Frank Chambers and his wife Kathy, of Lewistown and Margaret (Emery) Haubert and her husband Warren, Jr., of Richfield. On October 29, 1988, she married her surviving husband Harry O. Lauver III, with whom she was blessed to share more than 27 years of marriage.
In addition to her parents and husband she is survived her children, Kristina Chambers, of Sunbury, Harry O. Lauver, IV, of Lancaster; siblings, Frank Chambers Jr., Edward Chambers, Beverly Chambers, Clinton Chambers and his wife Nicole; many nieces and nephews; and she leaves behind a grand-dog, Pickels.
Mrs. Lauver was a 1987 graduate of Lewistown High School and had been employed by the Weis Markets, Mifflintown for many years.
Barbara loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed birdwatching and gardening.
A viewing will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
