Condolence: Larry & Family, We're shocked and very sad to hear of Karen's death. Can't begin to imagine what you and your family must be going through. We have such fond memories (when we were much younger) of our get togethers, picnics, and ball games. Karen was always fun and full of life. Also remember the joy of baby sitting your kids. If there is anything we can do during this sad or difficult time please let us help. Roger & Florence

Condolence: Karen was my secret sister (bobbin buddy) in the quilt guild one year. She surprised me with so many things. She loved life and could make anyone laugh. We knew things would be lively when Karen walked in the room. She will be missed. My heart goes out to her family.

Condolence From: Julie Somers
Condolence: Sending prayers and my deepest condolences to the entire family. I have the privilege of working with Karen's beloved brother Michael. And I remember well the stories Michael shared of Karen's recent birthday - complete with whipped cream vodka, much love and joyous laughter. May the beauty of your memories console you in this time of grief. I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss.

Condolence From: Jane Shearer
Condolence: Dear Family,

Karen came to visit my mother, Jean McNaight, as part of the "home visitation of shut-ins" program from the church. Mom had always liked Karen and really looked forward to her visits. When we realized we were going to need more help for Mom to stay in her home, she said she would ask Karen if she would help us and Mom was pretty sure Karen would do it. This was the beginning of a very special relationship that lasted for years. As Jean's daughter, I can't express well enough how much Karen's support and loving care meant to us. And, we just loved her unique spirit. We are so sad for our loss and can't even imagine the depth of your sadness. We want you to know that, in our memories of her, we will always revere her for the positive ways she touched our lives.
Sincerely,
Janie Shearer

Condolence: Larry, Matt, Abby and families......Words certainly escape me at the loss of your beloved mother and wife. Karen was one of a kind and her infectious laugh will always be something I, personally, will remember about her. Cancer is a fierce enemy and I am so thankful that she didn't suffer more than she already had. My thoughts, prayers, and friendship are with you now and always. God will hold you in his hand, with his comfort and care. Please know that if you need anything at all, I am just a phone call away. God Bless....
